Cheese cake while losing weight? Impossible! That's what I thought until now. I got busy in the kitchen, determined to make this lifestyle doable for me and the millions out there who want to endulge every now and then with out the walk of shame to the scale! I must say, I was pretty pleased with results!
Low Carb Turtle
Cheese Cake!
Filling:
1-16 oz sour cream
2-8 oz bricks cream cheese
3 eggs
1 T vanilla extract
1/2 cup of zero carb granulated sugar substitute
10 drops of liquid stevia
2 T sugar free caramel flavored syrup
Crust:
1 cup walnuts
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 stick butter (melted)
2 T sweetener
Topping:
2 T cocoa powder
1 T butter
1/3 cup heavy cream
3 T sweetener
Directions:
Pulse crust ingredients in food processor until finely ground
Press into a spring form pan
Bake crust for 15 min at 350
For filling:
Pulse all ingredients in food processor or mixer
Pour into spring form pan
Bake in a water bath
For 1 hour at 350 degrees
Let sit over night in refrigerator
Melt topping ingredients in microwave 1 1/2 minutes on high, stir and drizzle over slice.....serve!
